Impressively for an insurance company, AIA focuses on reasons to pay a claim, rather than reasons not to pay a claim. To make this process even easier, AIA has streamlined and simplified this process with ‘Claims EZ’. This is a fully integrated digital claims platform that facilitates online claims submission and immediate claims decision using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and supervised Machine Learning technologies. Today, all of AIA HealthShield claims are assessed by AI technology.
Customers can also instantly receive their claims payout which is directly credited into their bank accounts by leveraging onto the PayNow infrastructure.
AIA was the first insurer in Singapore to invest heavily in Singapore’s health by launching AIA Vitality in 2013. AIA Vitality aims to empower members to lead Healthier, Longer, Better Lives and reward them with exclusive benefits when they achieve fitness milestones through positive behavioural changes.
