FAIRPRICE constantly looks to better meet the evolving needs of its customers, and it strives to deliver the best value and excellent service to its customers especially through its housebrand range. While the COVID-19 pandemic is an extraordinary circumstance that has affected global supplies, FairPrice continues to grow its housebrand range of products to stay relevant. FairPrice housebrand products are sourced from over 55 countries around the world, including Singapore, Italy, Australia, Canada and Japan, and are certified by internationally recognised food safety and quality standards such as HACCP and ISO 22000.
Through the years, FairPrice has expanded its range of environmentally-friendly products, which has attributed to the increase in popularity for such items as consumers become more environmentally-conscious. FairPrice’s housebrand paper products are manufactured with raw materials from sustainable sources or using recycled materials. It offers over 25 housebrand household paper products ranging from disposable kitchen towels, toilet rolls, napkins, facial tissues, bathroom tissues, wet wipes and kitchen paper towels to travel-sized pocket tissues – all of which are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified.
FairPrice has also been working to refresh its extensive range of over 2000 housebrand products which involves an end-to-end process including consumer research, partnering suppliers and manufacturers, product testing, branding and packaging design. The refreshed packaging and design will better reflect the quality attributes of housebrand products, the country of origin and nutritional value, and help consumers make better informed purchase decisions.
