INSPIRED BY THE CHINESE CUSTOM of offering the finest tea as a tribute to honoured guests, Gong Cha (which means ‘Tribute Tea’) was established in Taiwan in 2006. The company is committed to delivering premium tea sourced from Taiwan that is fresh, fragrant and of the highest quality.

Gong Cha, which was established as a pioneer of the global bubble tea phenomenon, is now a household brand, with 1370 stores worldwide.

Singaporeans delighted in Gong Cha when the company opened its first store in Singapore in 2012.

Since then, continuous innovation has ensured Gong Cha bolsters customer engagement through novel market activations. Along with its smartphone app offering cashless payment, Gong Cha has launched an airport terminal concept outlet. From Singapore to Japan and Mexico, these destination-inspired drinks aim to quench both bubble tea and wanderlust cravings with ingredients distinct or synonymous to the country – a uniquely Gong Cha spin.

Spanning 70 square metres, the slick new SingPost Centre outlet is decked in an Instagram-worthy aviation-themed decal similar to an airport terminal departure hall. Complete with a ‘check-in counter’, ‘boarding gate’ and ‘window seat view’, customers are transported to another world.
